In Whitby we have a real problem with Seagulls pecking into our rubbish to find food to eat. This can result in rubbish being strewn all over the streets or our decked yard. We therefore have some rules we ask you to follow which will ensure that neither you nor the guests who follow you have to be faced with this unpleasantness.
We pay for a business waste service which is collected every morning except Sunday. Please dispose of all types of waste together as the business waste service we pay for sorts the waste for recycling.
Place all waste inside an orange bin bag (stored under the kitchen sink) and then put the orange bin bags inside an orange bin (stored in the shared cupboard at the end of the hallway for 6a, outside for 6) before putting it on the pavement for collection. NEVER place rubbish outside in bin bags alone. Ensure that you place it in the orange bins.
Please empty as much rubbish out of the property on your last night for collection on the morning of your departure. This will ensure that each group of guests only leave/arrive to a very small amount of rubbish.
